The Ingraham High School
graduation class of 1962 official Web site with our reunions,
registered alumni, autobiographies, classmate communications and much
more.
We, The Ingraham Class of
1962 are unique. While we were not the “First” Graduating
Class, we were the First “Full Three Year Graduating
Class”. It was our “Badge of Honor”.
We came to Ingraham High
School in the fall of 1959 as Sophomores ready to spend three years in
the halls of this brand new school. We were taught that it was
“Ingram” not “Ingra-ham” and who the School was
named after, Edward S. Ingraham for whom the Ingraham Glacier on Mount
Rainier is named.
We were presented to our
Principal, Mr. Claude Turner and our Vice-Principal Mr. John Maxey.
They would come in those three years to get to know some of us very
well and in so doing earn our trust and even our affection.
Our Annual is Volume
Three. Volume One did not have any Seniors in it. Volume Two was our
buddies the Class of 1961’s Annual. This web site is a
continuation of that long ago Volume Three. A place to meet and leave
your name and tell us something about yourself and to announce events
of interest to our Classmates from 1962.
Over these many years
since our graduation from Ingraham in 1962, we have perhaps lost track
of our many High School friends. Our class of 1962 reunions do bring
many of us back together but it is for a brief moment at best and many
classmates are inadvertently excluded from these reunions, and simply
because we have lost contact with them. Our class of 1962 Web site will
correct all this.
We NOW NEED Your Help.
If you are in contact with ANYONE from our 1962 graduation class, please refer them to this, their new class Web site. See Who is Currently Registered.
Our Memorial Section.
On a more somber note, should you be aware of a classmate who has passed on, please select "Contact Us" from the above menu and provide to your reunion committee all the information you have.
Where is our Ingraham Class of 1962 Now?
Based on Registered Classmates, the overwhelming majority of us are still in Washington State.
